Philanthropy Manager
The Role:
The Philanthropy Manager will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing strong relationships with various stakeholders, including local businesses, schools, community organisations, and Madrassahs, as we strive to create closer links with the BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) community in the Blackburn and Darwen borough.
The Philanthropy Manager will be instrumental in developing initiatives, events, and partnerships that resonate with the BAME community, contributing to B&DYZ’s ambition to continue to be a central hub for community pride and opportunities for all.

Targeted Manager
The Role:
As the Targeted Service Manager, you will be crucial in leading a team of practitioners and overseeing services designed to address the unique needs of young people with known vulnerabilities. This position is pivotal in creating a supportive and empowering environment for individuals facing various challenges such as socio-economic disadvantages, mental health issues, involvement in the juvenile justice system, or other vulnerabilities.

Head Of Operations
The Role:
The Head of Universal Operations is a critical, strategic and operational role within Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone. As a supporting member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will work closely with the Director of Operations, CEO and the Director of Finance to ensure the charity delivers its vision and strategic objectives. This includes strategies for sustaining and overseeing the ongoing transformation of Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zones’ operational business plan and its operational processes and infrastructure.

Youth Team Lead
The Role:
Our staff are what makes the Youth Zone special and the Youth Club Team Leader role is a crucial role within our mission of making Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone the Number One Service for young people. You will be responsible for the coordination, leadership, planning and delivery of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone Youth Club provision for young people aged 13 to 19 years (21 with a disability). Working positively, collaboratively and at pace with an enthusiastic and energetic youth work team, you will ensure our programme and offer for young people is of high quality, meets the needs of every young person in Blackburn with Darwen and ensures our offer reflects and exceeds on the wishes, needs and views of young people.

Business Administration Lead
The Role:
The Business Administration Lead is central to the success of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone as we embark in an exciting period of development. Not only is our Blackburn Youth Zone getting a face lift but we also have ambitious plans to grow our Darwen provision.
Working alongside the wider administration team and Managers, you will provide a key role in ensuring an efficient, effective, robust support service and robust HR systems enabling the wider team to focus on providing the very best opportunities for the young people who engage with the charity each year.
