Vape Dinner Lady Joins Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone Patron Network
Vape Dinner Lady is proud to announce its support for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone as a Patron, reinforcing its commitment to investing in the local community and supporting young people in Blackburn and Darwen.
This partnership highlights Vape Dinner Lady’s dedication to making a positive impact beyond its core business, ensuring that the next generation has access to opportunities in personal growth, skill development, and well-being.
Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone provides a safe and inspiring environment for young people aged 5 to 19 (and up to 25 through the Youth Hub). It offers a wide range of programmes that focus on skills and aspirations, community cohesion, and health and well-being.
As a Patron, Vape Dinner Lady joins a prestigious network of businesses that contribute to the £2.5 million annual operational costs of the Youth Zone, enabling it to sustain and expand its vital services.
“At Vape Dinner Lady, we’ve always believed that a business should be more than just a company, it should be a force for good. Supporting Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is about investing in the future of our town by giving young people the safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities they deserve. These are the changemakers of tomorrow, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping them thrive.”
Cohesion is at the heart of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, where young people from diverse backgrounds come together to learn, grow, and support each other. The Youth Zone celebrates diversity, and this is reflected in its membership numbers—48% of registered members identify as South Asian. The Youth Zone has become a key hub where young people, regardless of their background, can feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their potential and build a brighter future.
“We are delighted to welcome Vape Dinner Lady back to the Patron network again,” said Andrew Graham MBE, Founder of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone.
“As business leaders, we need to connect with each other to ensure we invest in the next generation of young people, giving them a safe environment to reach their full potential.
We have a growing patron network of 74 businesses who continuously pledge their support to ensure Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is the hub of the community, collaborating with all stakeholders to create a more cohesive, prosperous Blackburn with Darwen.”
