WE NEED YOUR HELP
Given the recent increase in daily living costs, the number of young people needing support with school uniforms has risen. With just 2 weeks to go until schools return, several families in Blackburn are still in need of school uniforms.
On average, high school uniforms cost £150.
In Blackburn with Darwen, there are 10,475 children under 16 in low-income families, the 4th highest in England. 12,639 under 16 in relative low-income families, the 5th highest in England.
We have partnered with Blackburn with Darwen Council and Rummage Rescuers to campaign throughout August to raise vital funds to help families who are struggling to buy uniforms for their children, and no young person will go without them.
We are reaching out to the local people of Blackburn with Darwen to help. .
