Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone Welcomes Darwen Terracotta as a Patron, Strengthening Commitment to Community Growth

Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is pleased to announce a significant addition to its Patron Network. Darwen Terracotta, a distinguished name in the architectural terracotta and faience industry, has officially joined hands with the Youth Zone to bolster its dedication to social responsibility and community development.

Darwen Terracotta boasts an impressive pedigree in architectural terracotta and faience, with a seasoned team that has contributed to the restoration and construction of some of the most iconic buildings in the UK, Europe, North America, Canada, and Australia.

Based in Blackburn, Darwen Terracotta specialises in crafting bespoke terracotta products for the construction industry. The company’s expertise is evident in the embellishments adorning traditional buildings, including notable landmarks such as the Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Their commitment to combining traditional artisan skills with modern manufacturing techniques has been further enhanced through collaboration with DigitME2.

Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, a charity dedicated to young people, provides over 60 hours of services during school closures and serves over 4,500 members aged 5-19, with additional dedicated services for young adults up to the age of 25. The organization operates from state-of-the-art centres in Blackburn and Darwen, extending its reach into the community.
