We are adapting how we support young people
In light of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and guidance from Public Health, Blackburn Youth Zone will be adapting our offer to continue to support young people.
This means that our normal 7day universal drop in youth, junior and diversity clubs will need to temporarily stop.
We are committed to providing a service to young people and the wider community. We will do this by:
1. Our Digital Offer
Providing a digital service for young people which engages, stimulates and educates through the youth zones social media platforms. The family can even join in!
2. Supporting our members
Providing continued support for young people through 1 to 1 meetings, online support and telephone calls.
If you feel like you need support message us on facebook @blackburnyz or Instragram @blackburnyouthzone a member of the team will then get in touch with you.
Please note this is not an emergency service and may take up to 2 working days for us to respond. If you feel you need support now please contact:

3. Supporting our community
We are working with local partners to help with efforts to provide support to families, young people and the wider community. We are providing free meals daily to anyone who needs them.
The health, safety and wellbeing of young people, staff, volunteers, visitors and those in the wider community is our top priority and we will continue to do what we can to support those around us.
Please feel free to contact our team by emailing email@example.com or call 01254 292000 and let us know what we can do to help you, even if it’s just to have a chat.
In the meantime, stay positive, stay together and stay resilient.
