FREE activities & FOOD FOR YOUNG PEOPLE THIS SPRING

At Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, we are excited to launch our Spring Holiday Club Provision. Children and young people will be able to have access to our large state-of-the-art facilities at Blackburn Youth Zone and Darwen Meeting Place. We have an action-packed programme with a wide range of fun activities. Come and join us in celebrating Spring Zone. 

Spring Up & Jump Out To Blackburn Youth Zone This Half Term.

Junior Clubs – Ages 8-12 Primary school
Youths – Ages 13 plus Secondary school
Spring Zone Programme:
 
Day 1 – Grow Your Mind/Grow Within
Spiritual Wellbeing & Self-appreciation – Action-packed day of yoga, self-care, creative arts and reflection activities.
 
Day 2 – Grow Yourself
Spring Up, get active and healthy – An action-packed day of fitness challenges, games, sports, and nutrition workshops.
 
Day 3 – Grow Your Community 
 An action-packed day of community-based local action projects. Recycling and gardening activities, as well as making pledges to continue at home.
 
Day 4 – Grow Together
Celebrate & Collaborate – Final day to reflect on the week and highlight key personal achievements. Finishing off with an inflatable fun day.
 

Low Needs SEND, Inclusive Club

Funded places are available at this Club for Free school meals to eligible families.

This holiday provision is for school aged children from reception to year 11 (inclusive) who
receive benefits-related free school meals.
Benefits-related free school meals (FSM) are available to pupils if their parents are in receipt
of one of the qualifying benefits, and have a claim verified by their school or local authority.

We are Blackburn Youth Zone, a state of the art youth club facility located at the heart of Blackburn. Blackburn Youth Zone is a 21st century youth hub for young people aged 5 to 25 years old, aiming to irrevocably change the prospects offered to young people in the area.
