The Zone is delighted to welcome a new Founder Patron to its ‘family’.
Mill Hill based MDA support world-leading brands such as Kraft, Barclays and Coca Cola with their marketing campaigns have signed up to become a Founder Patron of the Zone, showing their support for the future of the town.
The company has established a support package with employees for the ground-breaking youth engagement initiative. Team MDA will make donations to the project on a monthly basis. MDA also expects to help the project by offering volunteering support, promotional products and by becoming involved in an enterprise scheme.
Kelley Spencer, human resources manager at MDA, said: “We were hunting for an inspiring and worthwhile cause we could give some of our time up for, and offer financial support too. We have been aware of Blackburn Youth Zone since its inception, and as a team, we are hugely impressed by the impact it is having on the aspirations and ambition of the young people of our town.
“We are all very excited to become an active part of the Blackburn Youth Zone community, and see how our support has an impact at grassroots level.”
Blackburn Youth Zone’s Head of Business Development, Julia Wright, welcomed MDA to the Zone ‘family': “We are delighted to have MDA on board as Founder Patrons. It is demonstration of their commitment to investing in the future of our town. Without the support of our Founder Patrons, Patrons and supporters we would not be able to continue to work with our young people, helping them find and develop their talents – we call it finding their spark.”
