Thrill seekers wanted for first ever Zip Wire at Ewood Park this Mother’s Day!
Give your mum an experience she will never forget this Mother’s Day by registering for the first ever zip wire challenge at Ewood Park! The charity behind the event, Blackburn Youth Zone, is now looking for people to sign up and take part in this exhilarating challenge on Sunday 26th March 2017.
Register for the event and you’ll be taken to our launch point before flying through the air above Blackburn’s famous football pitch for a thrilling 150 metres.
By taking part, you will help to continue providing a safe and positive space for young people aged 8–18 in the local community.
Blackburn Youth Zone is an ambitious project that provides world class sports and arts facilities, 365 days a year for just 50p per visit, improving prospects and opportunities for thousands of local young people.

When is the event?
The event takes place between 9am – 12pm on Sunday 26th March 2017 at Ewood Park Stadium.
Can I take part?
- The zipwire event is open to all ages.
- Please note children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 16 will not be able to participate without adult consent.
- To take part you must weigh between 6 – 17 stone.
- This event is fully inclusive. Those who require wheelchair access must be accompanied by an assistant as there are 6 steps to reach the launch point.
