Health & Social Care Master Classes in partnership with Blackburn College

Blackburn Youth Zone has teamed up with Blackburn College to offer young people a range of Master Class Taster Sessions that will take place at Blackburn Youth Zone every month throughout 2017.

The aim of the masterclass programme is to engage young people, aged 13-18 (up to 25 with additional needs) in a diverse range of course taster sessions, allowing them to experience first-hand course content available at Blackburn College.

Blackburn College employees will be running the sessions at Blackburn Youth Zone and will be available to answer all of young people’s questions about courses and learning options available to them.

Mubashar Khaliq, Volunteering and Training Manager at Blackburn Youth Zone said:

“We’re really pleased to be working in partnership with Blackburn College to offer a wide range of taster sessions to our members at Youth Zone. Young people don’t always know what courses or learning opportunities are available to them, these sessions will give young people the opportunity to assess quality taster sessions within a casual youth club setting”.

The masterclass will include Life Saving Skills and Virtual Baby Experience.
