Blackburn Youth Zone Chief Executive, Hannah Allen joins the BID Executive Board

Hannah Allen, Chief Executive of Blackburn Youth Zone joins Blackburn BID Executive Board. Blackburn Business Improvement District (BID) launched in 2014 and is an ideal mechanism to develop a dynamic business environment in Blackburn town centre.

Hannah Allen, who is also a member of the Hive Steering Group will implement the BIDs four key themes which are to; market and promote Blackburn as a vibrant town centre, to create a safer, more secure Blackburn town centre, to create a sustainable, cleaner and more attractive environment, and to attract and support businesses.

With Blackburn Youth Zone being located in Blackburn town centre, Hannah Allen Chief Executive will be able to sustain a purposeful two-way relationship between young people and local businesses striving to improve the town centre. Blackburn Youth Zone is at the heart of the community, collaborating to create a more cohesive and prosperous Blackburn and Darwen; with the support from the BID and the Hive Steering Group.

The Youth Zone’s mission is to empower young people by creating a safe location for young people to come and have fun,meet different people, try new things and challenge themselves to be the best they can be.
