Community ‘Eat Together’ at Blackburn Youth Zone for National Festival of Making

You’re invited to join Blackburn Youth Zone community ‘Eat Together’ in support of the National Festival of Making on 13th May 2018.

On Sunday 13th May Blackburn Youth Zone will be delivering a community ‘Eat Together’ where young people, parents and local business can come and celebrate the Festival Of Making and the art projects the young people at Blackburn Youth Zone have been working on.

The young people will be delivering a showcase of various arts and drama projects including ‘‘The world of superheroes’ by Blackburn Youth Zone diversity group, a dance performance choreographed by the young people at Blackburn Youth Zone and then a chance to see an exhibition of art projects the young people have been making.

We will then come together to celebrate and taste food’s from across the world brought to you by the Refugee Community.

‘Action Factory and Blackburn Youth Zone work with very diverse communities in Blackburn with Darwen.  Our event at The Festival of Making gives an ideal opportunity to celebrate our creative projects with young people and families, celebrating the way that sharing arts, stories and food can develop a greater understanding and bring people together.’
